Itinerary description
A circular walk, combining the dune area with the historic centre of Noordwijk Binnen and the Offem estate.
Starting out with a cycle path that takes you to the dune rim, then up some steep stairs to have some extensive views all around. Then through some lovely undulating dunes where people were having picknicks at the time.
Then passing through the rich neigbourhood of Noordwijk, which is where the elite have their hill top estates.
Then going downhill to cross Oude Zeeweg, take Breloftpark and then turn right onto Dompad which continues into Kerkhofpad to take you into Noordwijk Binnen.
Through Douzastraat to turn left into the historic Voorstraat, passing the cosy Lindenplein (with the two giraffes on your left) and Oude Jeroenskerk ( (Old Church of St Jeroen) to come to a roundabout.
Then the walk rounds the Offem estate (which is private property).
To come full circle the trail finishes through some residential areas , taking the greener areas, along some waters.
You may also come across some bulb field if you visit in spring.
