Itinerary description
This was our favorite hike in Glacier (so far). The scenery is outstanding and the ice was fun to see. There is a place on the hike where we had to go directly under a waterfall. We got wet and so did everybody else. It was fun, though.
From Kalispell we had to leave at 3am to drive all the way out to Many Glacier and get a spot. There were about 10 cars there. We were 2nd to the actual glacier that morning, but the trail was very crowded on our way back. We took a little detour around Josephine Lake, which was scenic, too, but had mosquitoes.
