Itinerary description
English (castellano debajo):
We parked next to the tourist office, in the middle of the town, where there is free parking for a few hours.
From there we started to walk through the town to the cable car and then we started the route. Although the route can be done in either direction, we decided to go up the longest way to make it less difficult and have other views.
The ascend is constant for about three kilometers in which you will have to leave the town, go through a small forest and walk along a track until you reach the cable car and restaurant. While hiking we will have opportunities to see the glaciers in the nearby mountains and some very beautiful views of the entire area.
At the restaurant we decided to stop for lunch. Very good food for a set menu at a more than reasonable price.
The descent (or ascent depending on how the route is done is only 2 kilometers with a drop of just over 500 meters). According to tradition, on the way down you have to ring the bell of the small church that is halfway there.
Castellano:
