Itinerary description

Enjoy a lovely circular walk along the Rotten Calder water, passing the long abandoned railway viaduct and cross Millheugh bridge on your return. When walking counter clockwise you’ll have to step over a fallen tree immediately after crossing Millheugh bridge and follow a narrow path next to the water for a short bit.

Combine this with a stroll past the (sadly private) Crossbasket Castle to walk the Stoneymeadow Woods path towards East Kilbride.
