Itinerary description

The beginning of Bullant Spur on the main road was hard to locate and needed to use gps to locate. It is about 210m before the Duck Creek Road turnoff. A few metres in along the track there is a NP sign and from then on the track is tagged (sparingly) with tape. This track is not that well defined or tagged and needed to use the gps to keep to track, but essentially you just follow the middle of the ridge line down until you join the Yerralahla (Blue Pool) track. We forgot to take tape to add to the tags but it needs a few more in places and a bit at the start to help find the entrance. Very soft under foot thick with leaf litter and pleasantly shady when we walked it.
The Yerralahla (Blue Pool) track is well trodden and easily followed to the scenic pool area. We initially planned to go on to continue to Stairways Falls but the track to Stairway Falls is closed at Yerralahla (Blue Pool) due to erosion from floods. We then proceeded back to camp on the main Yerralahla (Blue Pool) track which is a long climb (400m in all I think), so have a few rest stops on the way up.
