Itinerary description
This is a great hike that'll allow you to see most of Green Mountain. You won't see too many bikes on the Box-o-Rox and Peak Loop trails as there are quite a few loose rocks on those trails. Though, you'll see a lot of bikes going up and down the Rooney Valley Trail, plus it's just not great for hiking with all the switchbacks (definitely a trail made for biking).
If I were to do this over, I'd probably just go down the main walking road you see people going up and down on, or back down the Box-o-Rox trail. Either way, a good time with many 360 views of Golden, Red Rocks, I-70 going up into the mountains, and downtown Denver.
