Trained up for a few months prior doing hilly walks. Mandatory are gaiters and poles. Vertigo on day 1...knocked the tripe out of me....plotting that evening on how to get choppered out....slept on it and had resolved next morning. Smashed the next 3 days. Agonized on camera gear to take....settled on 2 gopros (headstrap) and a handful of spare batteries. Worked a charm... bullet proof. Did frame grabs for the stills...and knocked up good videos for all days. Weather was coolish...great walking weather. Left on early light each day to give us hours in the bank if delayed. Used all 3 litres on day 4 under ideal conditions. We have a combined age of 140 years...so not a bad dig for a couple of old buggers lol
