Itinerary description
Hiking from Gubeikou Great Wall to Jinshangling Great Wall.
About 1.5 to 2 hour car drive from Beijing centre to Gubeikou.
This is a less touristic, old part of the wall, not restored.
About half way there is a military zone and you cannot longer walk on the wall, but there is a path at your left that makes a detour and brings you back on the wall to Jinshanling. Start at Gubeikou is uncrowded (in april 2014), end at Jinshanling is very busy.
