Itinerary description

This short route ascends to the top of one of the dunes of the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. It is necessary to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared so that sand enters all parts of the body. It is not advisable to go barefoot as the sand in the sun is very hot. The views from the top of the dune are spectacular. The return up the hill of the other dune is also a great experience.
