Itinerary description
The path starts at the Old Dungon Ghyll hotel. Just follow the river for about 3 Km, cross to wooden bridge and be ready for some climbing. Partially over needle payed out stones and steps, partially over loose rocks. Although there are several paths once you climbed to Esk house, it should not be to difficult to find your way.
The most difficult part is probably within the last kilometer where you’ll have to climb a rather steep rocky path.
Once on top you’ll have a stunning view all around. Worth all the effort.

Once you,be come to the end of the Oxendale valley the path will bring you to the Rosett pike you have a great view over the valley.
