Itinerary description
It is a natural jewel in the Graz area. After rainy days you should wear good shoes. For children, the mud pants and rubber boots are recommended. It is a beautifully landscaped natural forest with small clearings, ponds and a small stream that has dug into the forest floor like a canyon. The whole forest roundtrip can be done in 1h and with 135hm it is not strenuous at all, unless the urge to discover strikes through. Tadpoles, blind worms, ravens fighting with martens in the trees and the interest in the botanical diversity can extend the tour a bit.
