Itinerary description

To get to the starting point of the via ferrata one has two possibilities: use the cable car or use your legs. We have chosen the second option as Bob already knows the area, he climbed Titlis, the highest summit around.

Here you can watch the video of our climb: https://youtu.be/JDVp2CanUR4

We started our hike quite late, by midday and the weather wasn't looking too good, a bit cloudy but warm. We wanted to travel light to speed our ascent up and return to our car early in order to find a place to pitch our tent for the night.
The via ferrata starts gently, the path follows close to the ridge of the cliff. With the heat and humidity the clouds start to form and we have the impression that we are walking on the border of two kingdoms: that of darkness and that of light.

Unfortunately, these clouds also hide from us the splendid view of the surrounding peaks and in particular that of Titlis.

The route alternates between steep mountain trails and demanding climbing passages.

We recommend this via ferrata to those who are thrill seekers.
