The Petite Nation River is a tributary of the left bank of the Ottawa River in western Quebec, Canada. It rises in the Laurentians region and flows into the Ottawa River, in the homonymous region, near Plaisance, Quebec, Canada.
The name of this Quebec river refers to the Algonquin people who inhabited this region, the Weskarini, which means "people of the small nation".
