Itinerary description
English and French will follow:
Caminata dura dura, con 1400 metros de desnivel en unos 14 km. Nosotros bajamos en 6 horas tomando fotos, dormimos la noche, y subimos en 5 1/2 horas. Al lado del río hay una área designada de acampada, esta está permitida siempre y cuando saques un permiso en el "backcountry office" 28USD por 2 personas y noche (https://www.nps.gov/grca/planyourvisit/backcountry-permit.htm). El agua del río es apta para ser potabilizada (filtro, pastillas, etc.)
Strenuous hike with 4600 feet of elevation difference in 9 miles. The outbound walk took us 6 hours, we slept the night at the bottom of the canyon and went back up in 5 1/2 hours. You need to get your backcountry permit at the backcountry office if you want to sleep within the canyon (https://www.nps.gov/grca/planyourvisit/backcountry-permit.htm). Water from the river is drinkable once treated.

Hiking boots, trekking poles, compass, map, lights, solar cream, hat, water...
