Here is a list of the 47 stages of the GR10, also called Traversée des Pyrénées. It crosses the French Pyrenees from Hendaye to Banyuls-sur-Mer (from west to east, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean) or vice versa. It can be covered on foot or by bicycle at different paces and starting points. The whole route is very well marked with red and white painted markers and there are a good number of hostels along the way where you can camp. It crosses all types of terrain, mainly off-road, rugged and rocky in some areas. The views are stunning. The full route shows the option from west to east, but it can also be crossed from east to west.
