Itinerary description
20/5/18
Long walk because of lacking marks halfway.
We started off 3,5 km from Robleda centro desde el Hotel Nuevo Cedro. Enjoyed a bit a the fiesta de la Virgen de Navahondo at the plaza. From there the Camino lead through meadows with trees, slowly ascending and then getting down to the ermita of the virgin.
Problems began a couple of km’s after passing the NASA site. Walking along the main road the marks disappeared. Then we had to climb a fence that stated that the key to the fence would be available at the ayuntamiento. Just after climbing the fence we met the owners of the terrain. A bit annoyed but friendly enough to help us. But that meant making a large detour without any marks and having to avoid two shepherds dogs guarding their herd.
We walked with some zigzags through a lovely valley to finally get back on the track of guillemjunyent.
The last bit we had to walk on the carretera again, narrow and heavy traffic; no parallel track found unfortunately.
Continued to camping la ardilla roja to have a well deserved dinner and sleep in a lovely bungalop.

We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.

We left the road and climbed over the fence
We met the owners of the land and they sent us another way towards the pantano at Pelayos de la Presa than we planned. We didn’t have any choice so we did.

I can see there is a same problem with the fence, its a shame. Take care and good luck.
