I started at Haus Ternell, it´s about 2 km to pick up the trail from there. I was very excited about the hoge venen but that part was quite disappointing. The trail leads you on a wide road, only along the hoge venen, with on the other side of the road all those production forests, one after an other. I would suggest to leave the trail and see if you can find the wooden path that crosses the hoge venen rather then just walking around it.
