Itinerary description

We parked at the beginning of Clarry's track which is off the Castlemaine-Maldon road right next door to the Castlemaine Motorcross track. The walk was mainly bush dirt tracks which were clearly sign posted. We followed Clarry's track until just after the intersection with Donkey farm track, where we then followed a dirt bike track which was a pleasant change to the dirt roads, this came out around the corner back onto Donkey farm track. We headed towards the railway track and just missed seeing the tourist steam train.
The wattle was out in full bloom and lots of birds were evident, we even managed see a bee hive a tree.
If it hadn't been for dirt bike track this would have been a pretty boring walk.
