Itinerary description
Its a leisure walk except for a steep section from 1.5km to 2km on this trail.
There is an alternative path running parallel at a lower level. (see map photo).
The forest has lost many trees after a storm some years back and others from disease... However, thousands of young trees have been planted to bring the forest back to its former glory.
For the adventurist... a hike overlooking the valley would be very tempting.
There is access to the mountain before the park entrance and also at point 2.1km on this walk.
