Itinerary description
This trail starts from amazing southern city of Goris and leads to 2 villages - Karahunj ( Քարահունջ ) and Khot ( Խոտ ).
It's a perfect moderate hike for those who like forests, gorges and fantastic views
---This is also the 2nd day of famous Legends Trail ( Լեգենդների արահետ ) in Syunik province, Armenia.
--- First you head to forest where you should follow a tiny path, which sometimes gets lost, so GPS is must here. Then, close to the village of Karahunj you'll fillow vehicle traces till the village of Khot.
--- Though the trail is considered as a blazed one, there are parts where we oriented with the help of the GPS app.
--- Season for this trail starts from mid April till mid November (the first snow).
Best months for the views are May- June-July (greenery ) and mid October (colourful autumn).
--- The length of the trail is 14 km.
