Stage 9: Gorak Shep (5150) -Kahla Pattar (5554) -Lobuche (4920) -Dughla (4620) -Pheriche (4250)
The first three km are a continuous ascent and descent by stones and earth from the northern glacier. There are 3-4 areas of a lot of stone where you have to climb a bit. Then there is a descent to Lobuche and a flat section through the valley until reaching the town. We continue flattening with more descents than ascents, until then there is a descent with a lot of negative slope to reach the town of Dughla. You have to go down to the river and go back up and then practically all the way is down to El Valle de Pheriche, where the last km is in plain.
