Itinerary description

Starting by leaving the electric assist mountain bike at Cunningham's Gap I drove back to the Sylvester's Lookout car-park at Goomburra. Walking past the lookout the route heads off track into rugged rainforest along the Main Range escarpment, taking about 5 hours to cover 9 km until reaching Bare Rock. From here a track heads past Mt Cordeaux and steeply down to Cunningham's Gap. This was followed by a long 61km ride back to the car. A big day that would be very difficult on a standard bike.
