Itinerary description

This trailrun on YouTube/Jelbuilder: https://youtu.be/GaHuJpDzY4c

Distance around 11kms, and it took about 2hrs 15mins including some trailrunning, some walking, and some filming.

Exploring more of Goolman Conservation Estate in the Flinders Peak Mountain Range. Today we'll explore a special little trail I saw from my last video which will lead up to the Goolman / Ivory Rock Lookout.

Starting from Spowers Road entrance where I parked my vehicle, I headed upward until I hit the yellow Daisy's Gate. From there, I head upwards a ridgeline escarpment which goes up to Goolman Lookout. This trail is absolutely fantastic and I loved every second of it! It elevates to a nice height quickly with some good views, whilst you run amidst the Grass Trees.

At Goolman Lookout, great view of Ivory Rock and Ivory Tooth and a bunch of other elements including The Great Dividing Range. From there I'll head down to check out Harding's Paddock. Then up to Rocky Knoll Lookout via the Gamlen Circuit.

Then I decide to go an alternative "fun" route via the Teviot Range Track.... which means bushbashing my way through an obscure area using only the overhead powerlines as my reference. Some really cool gullies to cross here and I when I came to my third Powerline Tower, I turned right. This led me straight back to my vehicle on Spowers Rd.

This was a great circuit that allowed me to see a whole other side to Goolman. Love it!
