Itinerary description
Kratovo - Golem Vrv - Kratovo
This route is only for adveturers as part of it is canyoneering, another part is exploring and all the trail is trough non marked teritory which is difficult for orientation even if you use navigation. We planned this trip to be picking of herbs and it end up with ascent to one of the least known peaks above Kratovo and entire Osogovo mountain but we received exactly what we aimed for - adventure. It is more exploring route with huge potential if anyone shows interest to clear the path and add marks for easier following. The landscapes are unreal as one moment you are walking in the river, next one in steep deep forests and than you walk trough the fallen leaves watchin where each step will lend on. From the forest terrain changes into rocks, from the rocks again forest and than was the best part trough the village of Gorno Kratovo and it's neibourhoods, we were walking trough beautifull green valley and next moment scenary changed into volcanic stones and dust, Kratovo is really one of the wonders that are worth visiting.
