Itinerary description

A hike on 2 parts. I recommend to do the hike in reverse vs what I did, it allows to start with the climb, and close with the river, its fresh water and its cafes for restauration like the locals do - tajine and mint tea (don't start where I stopped my tracking though, the last bit was by car, start at the parking of the waterfalls).
- Part 1: On the lower levels of the vallée, following the river upstream. Barely any elevation. Depending on the season and the weather, this part can get crowded, with people going up and down in flip flops and flat sneakers through the valley and crossing the waters. There are terraces all along, set up for tourists (mostly locals) to rest, have a tea and / or a tajine. You can swim in the many pools ans admire the endless suite of waterfalls. Carefully with crossings: stones can be wet and slippery. I recommend water friendly shoes, be ready to get wet (unless it's very dry) and to see a lot of people. At the end you get rewarded with a fantastic natural arch made of red rock, and a beautiful turquoise pool right under. Better to leave this part to the end, to chill put and refresh with a bath after the hike up.
- Part 2: this is a real hike, where you barely see anyone. It get get slippery too, but more due to drought than water. You can get some pretty nice view over the valley and the river that run underneath. It can get quite steep, so better to do with proper hiking shoes. Plan for sunscreen and about 1L of water. At the end you get to see the Arch (God's Bridge) from above, crossing the bridge and get to have a tea, a biscuit or a chat, served by Mohamed, a local with of wisdom (he speaks moroccan, and could communicate with soke Spanish and French).
