Itinerary description

This is a short but very enjoyable loop, taking in a variety of the marked trails around the park. It starts at the Visitor Centre car park and goes uphill to the trig point via the "blue" marked horse trail. After that the route follows different trails and paths back to the car park. At one point it meets a golf course - not marked on the Country Park map - but walking along the edge of the golf course didn't seem to be a problem with some golfers nearby.
Some of the smaller paths tend to be muddy after wet weather, and there are one or two steeper inclines. You don't need to follow this trail - it is one of thousands of options - just enjoy wandering around the park and explore the many different routes.
