Itinerary description
Glenfinnan to A'Chuil. Starts with steady climb increasing in intensity towards the top. After the top the first part of the descend is steep and tricky. The initial descend the route is quite wet and you’ll have to follow the river down. Sometimes it worth choosing a higher route to avoid some of the cliffs that are forming here. Where the river joins a bigger river you first cross the river you’ve been following and then cross the bridge. You’ll enter the woods and the first couple hundred meters can be tricky when it’s raining or icy but after that it is smooth sailing until the end. You can find a quite nice Bothie by following the fence down.
