Itinerary description
Travel to the entrance to Faha Wood (also known as the Fairy Wood) which is situated just outside Glenbeigh village on the way to Rossbeigh beach.
The fairy trail is full of surprises especially for the little ones….
Exactly where the fairy trail ends is where to change direction towards Rossbeigh Hill.
(As one will notice above… I missed this junction at first and then had to retrace my steps).
The path up to the first peek is very steep but then after that it is easy going.
The views are great all around from all three peaks en-route and this time of year (August) the heather & gorse adds plenty of colour.
There is some road walk but since it is still part of the Kerry Way… this section is also very nice.
