Itinerary description
Beautiful hike to Grinnel Glacier. We went with a ranger and it was great, we learnt a lot about geology, alpine flowers and bears! It takes more time, but it is worth it.The easiest way is taking the boat across Swiftcurrent Lake and Lake Josephine. This is bear country, so it is recommended going with more people and make noise. Sometimes the trail is even closed because of bear activity so check before in the ranger station.
