Itinerary description

There a fair amount of bush bashing with this route. This was some exploring on the way up and the way down. There aren’t any maintained path, or unmaintained paths. There a good couple of rocky slabs similar to the main face of the pyramids, one in particular is longer and steeper. There are other possible routes from the top of slip rock that can include more rock slab if you want.

Is it probably best to return the way that you took there?

Yes it would be best to return via the start point

thanks hey! Any clues to finding it?

The start is a gate along old pyramids road. There was a rough vehicle right at the starts but the rest is all off track.

Thanks Benny. One more question if I can. Is it all okay for a 64 year old parent to walk on? Is it a bit of a maze at the top but is it all just walking with steep sections? But I understand why there's no maps to this amazing spot. It's probably best

It’s hard to say as I’m not aware of your experience or fitness. It’s all off track with a lot of scrambling and bush bashing.

Thanks hey. We are fit but climbing wouldn't really work especially with back packs. Is scrambling basically climbing?

Scrambling is probably a step or two down from climbing. If you’ve done Mt Barney to rum jungle you may be OK with this level of scrambling.
