Itinerary description
Girley Bog is a raised bog with boardwalks on the bog and some lovely birch woodland. It is one of my all time favorite walks.
Girley Bog is signposted on the LHS of road approx 3k as you come out of Kells on the N52 Mullingar Road. There a few areas to park on the laneway to the walk, I usually go to final are though the road surface is poor.
