Itinerary description
Reserve at least 6 hours for the walk. Walking poles will be very helpfull for the gravel-covered ascend to the saddle between Gigilos and Strifomadi mountains. From the saddle up the rocky cap of the hikes begins. It is very stable and not exposed and despite its look is easier to complete than the previous " before the saddle" gravel part. After reaching the first summit there will be another 200 meters horizontal stretch to cover over giant boulders. The rock is stable and rather fun to scramble over.

We only managed to get to the saddle at 1665 m where the E4 descends into the adjacent valley. The trail up to the summit(s) was just too difficult for us - many teams did go up, so don't be discouraged by our lack of heroism.
The trail up to the saddle is just awesome with stunning views into the valley deep below. The trail is easy to follow if you stick to the painted arrows and cairns. It took us 2 hrs. to arrive at the saddle and almost the same time to go down again. The descend is strenuous because of the endless number of loosely packed rocks on the trail.
