We get up at four in the morning, have breakfast and start walking with the headlights on. The slope is steep. I still have mountain sickness. Vomiting. I focus on the breath and every step I take. The sunrise is spectacular. We go up slowly and often stop to watch and eat a little. The road is rocky. There is some snow. Now you have to climb a little, we come to a rock that with the help of some iron stairs allows you to reach the top of Punta Lenana, 4,985 m. We are at the top. The excitement is total. We hug and burst into tears. The effort has been well worth it. We go down a ridge, in sections helped by a steel cable, and we lose height. We arrive at the Austrian Hut where we are expected to sleep, at an altitude of 4,804 m. Tomorrow Oscar, Gerard, Fèlix and Xisco will try to climb Punta Nelion, 5,188 m. I'm still very dizzy, I'm vomiting again, I'm cold, I can't get food or drink. We decide that a group of 6 will go down to the American camp, at 4,200 m, to see if I can improve.
