Itinerary description

Arrive early. The parking lots fill by late morning. The trail down to Sherman Tree is paved and crowded. Once you leave the paved trail you have the trail to yourself. The trail passes many giant sequoias, an old cattle barn, Tarp's Log and several picturesque meadows. Take plenty of water.

Great hike, hits all the main trees and scenery and provides a nice overview of the sequoia national park in a not too long route
