Itinerary description
Amazing trek! The track starts from Lawrence college and goes all the way to Nandkot.
To reach the place, I would suggest you taking Careem or Indrive services early in the morning. That way you won't have to park your car in the vicinity or reach back which can increase the total distance twofold. To reach back to Islamabad or RWP, you can hop in to a bus or van as there are plenty of local transport on Murree highway. Avoid doing this on Sunday as local transportation is not that readily available due to nonworking day.
The track is a bit difficult to find. From Lawrence college, go down till you hit the bazaar. From there go left near the transformer which will take you on the trek.
Note that it's easy to lose the track. Several other tracks go from this area and chances are you might get lost. Good thing is that somebody has done marking and written SHT. Follow the marking, I have taken pics for reference.
Good thing about the track is that You get views of the murree valley. Dense forest with full of pine trees.

We had done the same on 17 December, but from opposite side bottom to top.
Wow! That must have been super tough!
Indeed, but joyful 😀
