Itinerary description
This hike starts on the edge of the village of Ghazoua and takes the road, there is some forest and dune walking and finishes up with a stroll along the beach (into 50 kph headwinds) to arrive in Essaouira.
The path skirts around a golf course and I referred to their fence line a couple of times in the waypoints. The forest and Dune portion was really nice but no clear path exists and we picked up trails that were headed in our direction. The road walk was as expected, the beach portion was really windy which is good if you are hosting the 2018 World Wind Surfing championships. Not so much fun when you are heading in to it.
Overall a nice hike, we would have continued on to the port if the wind wasn't so bad. Keep an eye on the weather forecast and with a river crossing just before town, tide times may be important. We barefooted it across the river and got wet up to our knees. The hike ends at a cafe where a local bus can be taken back to your starting point.

Ford the river known as Oued Ksob
It felt like it was pretty close to high tide. Water was flowing in from the ocean but we still crossed it pretty easily.
