Itinerary description

I was staying on the other side of the river from the main town so I took a little track up to the road to the Church. Once I hit the road I got onto the forest track to the Church.

From the carpark for the Church you need to go up the hill and follow the track along the side of the mountain. You can go up the ridge too.

Follow the car tracks up to the top of the mountain and enjoy the views along the way. It's pretty steep but if you take your time it's not too bad. There's a metal structure that was still being built and a cross which had amazing views of the mountain.

I wanted to go to the base camp but there was still too much ice at the end of April. I started to walk along the path but I didn't have the right gear for the ice so I turned back.

On the way down I went along the ridge.
