Itinerary description
A beautiful hike from the village to the iconic church overlooking it. The route starts from the Gergeti Cafe. At the first crossroad we followed the left path which is smoother and circled the ruined tower. On the second crossroad we also continued left (the right goes straight to the church but is very steep). On the third we finally took the right path and reached the church. It is an easy hike that takes about 1.30 hour in total. Though the views are so epic you will definitely need more time to admire the beauty of the place.
