Itinerary description
Gerês trilho dos Currais/Curral's trail in Gerês
- It goes though three currals: the Curral of Espinheira, the Curral of Carvalha das Éguas and the Curral of Lomba do Vidoeiro
- Classified as difficult due to max. and min. elevation (long distance of climbing up and then going down). Not the best for people with knee problems and without good shoes.
- starting point in the center of Geres, with the access to coffee places
- Beautiful views during entire trail, including the view point of Pedra Bela ("beautiful stone")
- shelter places on the way

It has some technical parts, going down. Needs some preparation
Went there multiple times last year. I actually just arrive from another trail this past weekend. I just can't get enough of it. Definitely one of the most beautiful places in Portugal.
