Itinerary description

Laxfield is an interesting village with a long and complex history, a couple of pubs and a fine church. The walk going anticlockwise starts very easily. The last leg heading south east was more difficult. After about 500 metres on a quiet main road, the footpaths were poorly signposted and there was little sign of maintenance. Three deep unbridged ditches needed to be crossed. This needed some agility and a willingness to ignore water, mud, nettles and thistles.
