Gudbrandsdalsleden: Meslo to Segard Hoel

Two adults and three teenagers, the second day of our pilgrimage from Berkåk to Nidaros.

A long day but passed through beautiful country much of the way. We stopped in the Gammelsbua Museum in Voll, where the manager sold us Pilgrim passports and gave us a nice tour of the stave church there. Apparently, it is one of only four remaining stave churches built in a Y shape and was very impressive inside. Highly recommended. We didn’t see the museum but it looked good and there was a small gift shop and the manager was very knowledgeable about not only the history of the place but also practical details of the way.

There’s a supermarket in Voll, where the woman was very friendly and gave our kids some free candy.
