Itinerary description
The fountain is in the old village of Varnakas which can be reached by car. After that point, the road is destroyed and only accessible by a 4x4 (or on foot).
Follow the old road until its end. Then turn slightly left and start to climb the mountain. Soon the landscape becomes completely naked: no trees, just rocks. Walk on the ridge until you reach the top "Gavroulia". Enjoy the view from there and return following the same path.
The distance is about 16 km in total.
Notes:
- The uploaded trail is backwards: starts from the top and ends in the fountain.
- If you're lucky you might see eagles or wild pigs.
