Itinerary description
This is the quickest route to the top of El Hacho and back down to the village if you don't have sufficient time to do the full (and recommended) circular route called Gaucín Town Hall Route I (also available on wikiloc), with wikiloc ID no: 36795385

This route is a shorter version from Gaucín to the summit and back - and was done to see the timings and distance of the route going up and down the same way. It takes between 45 minutes to an hour to reach the top, depending on how speedily you want to get up, and whether you stop to enjoy the spectacular views along the way. Coming back the same way has some steep sections but if you take your time then it's not a problem. A hiking stick is useful though.
