Itinerary description
Gasparee Cave is an old limestone cave on Gasparee Island near to Trinidad. It can be accessed by boat and a short walk. The cave is filled with sea water and the top has crowned in. Although it is no longer growing there are many large stalactite features to be seen. Some bats call the cave home too. Access is granted by the Chaguaramas Development Corporation. A large flight of steel stairs provides access to the cave.
