Itinerary description
A continuation from the "Gambier Twelve Disciples Hike (https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gambier-twelve-disciples-hike-51058080)" - where a comment which said it continues on around the island. Not exactly sure if the last little shoreline is possible, the markings on the trail had the trail going up about 1/3 of a mile from the western most tip of the island.
Was a good walk around the shoreline, not as well marked/cleared as the Mount Duff and Moko trails, probably because its less traveled. There are a couple places where ropes are useful for going up slippery shoreline and back down to the trail.
On the end the trip up the mountain to the ridge-line is steep with some ropes to help, but look carefully for the trail markings. They are there in 2021 but sometimes difficult to spot.
Marked as difficult for the ascents and length of the journey, but nothing that can't be done in flip-flops.
Cheers.
ps. Noticed the sign says Apostles, not disciples as I posted last time. *doh*
