Itinerary description
With millions of square meters of beautiful scenery in Portugal, you can find something better. Much better.
It looks like it is mostly a motocross/motor sport area.
My day started off by two guys on dirt bikes constantly looping by me. Not pleasant. Eventually, they got bored and zoomed off and I kept going.
The trail is mostly soft and sandy and takes you through forests, up and down small hills.
At the far end of the trail, you will pass the town dump. And places where, I guess, people unload stuff when the dump is closed. Portugal’s shame are the piles of construction materials thrown in the woods.
Finally, the home stretch, is walked by through a section of path (track?) use by 4x4s for off-roading, then avoiding piles of human excrement and paper the last couple of hundred meters to the car.
I think this would be a fun place on a dirt bike or maybe mountain bike (be hard - many of the trails are deep sand). Very disappointing trail for hikers.
