Se trata de una ruta bonita y variada que nos permite tener buenas vistas sobre la Hohe Rhön. Pasa por oscuros bosques de coníferas, praderas, el pueblo de Obernhausen (que tiene una fuente de agua potable), el lago Guckaisee con su restaurante Guckai Stuben y donde se puede uno bañar, la colina Pferdskopf y la montaña Wasserkuppe con sus vuelos sin motor. Después de pasar el Wasserkuppe hay otra fuente de agua potable al lado del camino. La ruta está bien indicada (hay que seguir la “Fulda-Quelle”) y no es muy difícil, salvo por los kilómetros y alguna colina.

This is a beautiful, varied trekking path during which you can see the open spaces of the Hohe Rhön, dark conifer forests, a small village (Obernhausen) with a well of drinking water, the lake Guckaisee with its restaurant Guckai Stuben and a swimming opportunity, the hill Pferdskopf, and the mountain Wasserkuppe with its gliders. Towards the end, after passing the Wasserkuppe, there is another well with drinking water. The path is well indicated (follow the sign “Fulda-Quelle”) and not very difficult apart from the length and some hills.
