Itinerary description

A splendid hike starting at camping San Juan. At the beginning, there was a gate, but it wasn't an obstacle as you could easily go around it (there's no gate on the other side). The first part of the hike is a steep ascent through the forest, providing plenty of shade. Eventually, you reach the charming village of Banarrabé, with its three cozy restaurants. I had lunch at Kabila, which also offers vegetarian options, and it was highly recommended. After lunch, I continued my hike along a beautiful forest path and through a cork oak forest. Eventually, I took a path to the right and had to walk a bit through the river. But with the lovely weather, it was no problem for me and my dog. A super fun day and a beautiful adventure!

Een schitterende wandeling die begint bij camping San Juan. Aan het begin stond er een hek, maar dat was geen hindernis omdat je er gemakkelijk omheen kon (aan de andere kant is er geen hek). De eerste etappe van de wandeling gaat stevig omhoog en voert door bos, dus er is redelijk veel schaduw. Uiteindelijk bereik je het charmante dorpje Banarrabé, met zijn drie gezellige restaurantjes. Ik heb geluncht bij Kabila, waar ook vegetarische opties zijn, en het was echt een aanrader. Na de lunch vervolgde ik mijn wandeling langs een prachtig bospad en door een bos met kurkeiken. Uiteindelijk nam ik een pad naar rechts en moest ik een stukje door de rivier wandelen. Maar met het mooie weer was dat geen enkel probleem voor mij en mijn hond. Een super leuke dag en een mooi avontuur!
