Itinerary description
Ft. Clatsop - Clay Pit, Kwis Kwis, and South Slough All the of these trails connect to the Fort to Sea trail and the South Slough trail ended about 1/4 mile down the Neutel trail from the fort.
the trails are well marked and maintained. most of the trails are pretty shady and go through lush forest.
Towards the end of the slough trail. the hike gets difficult for a bit while you gain altitude pretty fast, but the test of the trail, is moderate.
