Itinerary description
It's a lovely walk, although I can't really call it a hike: the trail is mostly wide, with only one or two of steep uphill places, and small slippery trails up to the Lesse crossing (a pedestrian crossing next to the rail). However, there were far more people on a sunny November Saturday than I'd expect, as next to Walzin there's a huge parking lot and apparently it's a popular starting point for many nature lovers... less so on the Veves side, even though parking a bit below the Veves castle was full by the time we were leaving. So if you want a calm, quiet walk, maybe choose some other time - or place :)
